Isaac is a 18 year old boy starting his 2nd year of High School (Form 2 or Secondary 3) at Transafrica High School in Lodwar Town, Turkana District. He comes from a family of 4 children, born and raised in Lokichoggio, a town in the far north of Kenya, 30km from the border of South Sudan. Both his parents passed away due to poor medical treatment, his mother in 1985 and his father in 1999. This situation put much stress on the livelihood options of the family and was one of the reasons his two brothers had to drop out of school. His sister was able to complete her high school studies and currently lives in Nairobi. Her and her husband have been supporting him through school until now, however, it is becoming a larger burden for them and he is concerned they may not be able to support him to the end of Form 4 (Secondary 5) when he can sit his national examinations and complete his Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE). His strongest subjects in school are chemistry and physics. Your help would allow Isaac to fulfill his dreams of becoming a doctor and returning to Lokichoggio to offer his services.
